The Surfing Sushi Chef

An instalment in the Tourism Tasmania  ‘Go Behind The Scenery’ series that captures the beautiful landscape here in Tassie and capitalises on the power of story driven digitial content by engaging Tasmanian characters to share the stories that make this island so unique.

Based out of Geevston, Masaaki Koyama is master of the knife and artist of some the best sushi going. We were wrangled to shoot the surfing sequences with our Red Dragon in the custom Dave Kelly underwater housing for this piece that was directed by Gemma Lee, from Scotland.
